A quick snapshot of me
Natural and unselfconscious. Not, unfortunately, a description of myself; rather a concise summing up of my style of photography. I like to capture moments of reality, moments that tell a story. After all, isn’t that what great photography is all about – telling a story?
I don’t like going on about myself - I prefer to let my work do the talking. However, it makes sense that before you hire me, you find out a little about me.
I am an award winning photographer who has been working professionally since 1995. Although weddings are my specialty, I work across a variety of disciplines including portrait, fashion, commercial and music. In 2005 I set up Darren Cresswell Photography Ltd and haven’t looked back; what excites me about this cross-discipline approach is that, for example, my experience as a fashion photographer has helped me really capture some terrific moments in a wedding situation – moments I may not have captured if it wasn’t for the knowledge I’ve gained on hundreds of shoots.
