Laura and Matt, Sutton Bonington Hall

This is the rather cool Laura and Matt at one of my favourite venues Sutton Bonington Hall. Its no secret how much i love shooting at this venue, the atmosphere, the style, the staff, theres loads of reasons but most of all its because of the relaxed couples that book me to shoot there and Laura and Matt were no exception. Laura looked amazing upstaged only by daughter Hermoine of course and the styling and lovely touches like a treasure hunt for the kids all went to make a great day.

Shameless plug here but the stunning details at the wedding, including the photo tree, menus, the amazing miniature Banksy style canvases and the Harry Potter Sorting Hat favours pictured in this blog post were all hand made by artist / graphic designer and more importantly Groom for the day, Matt.

Caroline and Alex, Norwood Park

Nina and Charlie, Langley Priory

This is Nina and Charlie’s elegant wedding at The Priory Church, Breedon on the Hill and then onto the hidden gem of all wedding venues, Langley Priory in Derbyshire.

Claire and David, Stubton Hall

This year i have been photographing weddings at some of the best venues around and Stubton Hall near Newark, Lincolnshire is no exception.
I was at Stubton earlier this year for Rochelle and Pauls wedding and loved it, the light and shade in the rooms is a dream to work in so i jumped at the chance to be back there for Claire and David’s Autumn wedding.

Sally and Steve, Sutton Bonington Hall

Back at Sutton Bonington Hall, for Sally and Steve’s September wedding.
The whole day was a real pleasure to capture and the email i received from Sally having seen her wedding photos for the first time was priceless.

“They are perfect, amazing, wonderful. Thank you so so so much. I opened the slide show first with the music, it made me cry – I am such a soppy plonk!” Sally.

Suzanne and Mark, Sutton Bonington Hall

A few images from Suzanne and Mark’s wonderful and intimate wedding at one of my favourite venues, Sutton Bonington Hall on the Leicestershire / Nottinghamshire border.

I have shot at the house many times with the majority of bride and grooms having the ceremony as well as the reception at the hall, so it made a nice change to have the ceremony just round the corner at St Annes Church.
Congratulations and a big thank you to Suzanne, Mark and their guests for being so laid back and as always thanks the staff at Sutton Bonington Hall, it was a real joy to capture the day.

Helen and Levi, Sutton Bonington Hall

Loads of stuff happening at the moment with weddings, portrait shoots, fashion campaigns and music festivals to photograph so im frantically trying to keep up with all the editing involved, so there’s lots more to come in the next few days.
End of July and back at one of my favourite venues Sutton Bonington Hall for Helen and Levi’s gorgeous wedding, I met Helen and Levi last August at a wedding i was shooting at Thrumpton Hall, so i was over the moon when they asked me to photograph their day (you cant beat recommendations, especially as it was Levi’s sisters wedding i was covering at Thrumpton).

Rochelle and Paul, Stubton Hall

Images from Rochelle and Pauls beautiful wedding at the amazing looking Stubton Hall near Newark.
It was real pleasure to work with Rochelle and Paul, and despite the impending threat of becoming official VAV’s “Volcanic Ash Victims”, and having their honeymoon to the Maldives delayed for a week nothing was going to spoil the day.
