Photos from Susannah and David’s wedding at Coombe Abbey last December.
I have photographed weddings a Coombe Abbey a few times in the past and it is probably the trickiest venue i have ever shot at. Its a beautiful restored 12th Century Abbey and they have kept the atmosphere by having minimal lighting, fine in the middle of summer but i bet it has caught out a few less experienced photographers during the winter months.
It was real pleasure to cover the day for Susannah and David who were brilliant to work with and i received one of the nicest testimonials from Susannah.
“I know Dave has already contacted you but I just wanted to email you myself to say the biggest thank you as I possibly can for the absolutely amazing photos. I can’t even put into words how pleased I am with them and how perfect they are. Dave has already told you that I can’t stop looking at them, and it’s true! I have not had the chance to show many of my guests yet but I intend to email out the link to your website this weekend so I can show them off! We have had a lot of engagements in our family over Christmas so I will certainly be recommending you to all the couples.
Thanks again for everything you have done to capture our wedding for us and for being so good to have around on the actual day. I would have to say that choosing you as our photographer was probably my best wedding decision (I suppose I should precede that with… After choosing Dave to be the groom!)!”
