Turning the performance of a lifetime into images that will last a lifetime

When photographing live performance, my aim is to capture, in one moment, the mood, the energy and the vibrancy of the performance. Whether music or theatre production photography, timing and skill will ensure that even a single image will translate the excitement and intimacy of actually being there.

Music has always been a big part of my life; In the past I have played in bands, now I photograph them instead of playing with them. My work has appeared in various publications, such as The Guardian, The Independent, Uncut Magazine, Classic Rock, Bizarre and Music Mart.

As well as capturing some of the best gigs and festivals around, I have recently been providing images for The Curve Theatre in Leicester. Not only have I been visually documenting this incredible building, I’ve been lucky enough to shoot rehearsals, workshops and after show discussions as well as some production and cast shots.
