Capturing the spirit in natural surroundings

For me, great portrait photography is all about capturing a subject’s natural feelings and beauty; only then do we see the real person – rather than a rather self-conscious subject grinning at the camera.

I prefer location shooting for portraits. Capturing people naturally in their chosen surroundings makes for a relaxed, fun, session that will produce images that you will treasure forever.

However, if you want a more traditional portrait shot in a studio environment, I’m happy to do it – and I’m sure you’ll love the results. When photographing babies I’m more than happy to visit a client’s home and shoot in familiar surroundings.

Everyone is unique, and I aim to be as flexible as possible. Whatever your expectations, I will surpass them to produce images you’ll never tire of looking at.
