Hi! I’m Darren and that’s me on the right. Im based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, and I’ve been photographing weddings for over 18 years.

My photography adventures have taken me everywhere from shooting weddings in France, Spain and Italy, from stately homes to intimate village church halls. I love nothing more than meeting new people and getting to shoot in beautiful locations.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m kept busy by my wife and three kids, or you’re most likely to find me out on the streets or trails, running with my gorgeous cockapoo, Ginny.

Quite simply, I capture those special moments between you and your loved ones. I aim for photographs that are elegant and understated, letting the emotion of your day shine through.

I take a relaxed approach, and don’t like to control things too much. After all, nobody wants to spend hours standing in a line for a photographer! Instead, I prefer to work in the background, leaving you to enjoy your special day.

Before your wedding we’ll meet up so I will have an idea of any specific shots you’d like. It’s important to get a few group shots of family, but I typically only take 8-10, concentrating on immediate family and the bridal party. Then, I’ll take a more natural approach to capture real moments that tell the story of your day.
